Epsom salt, also known as magnesium sulphate, is used as a drying agent. It is similar to sea salt. You can find it at your local supermarket, and it's really inexpensive. The name dates back hundreds of years to the mineral abundant waters of Epsom, England.
It has a variety of medical uses taken in both oral and topical form. Using Epsom salt for acne though should be used solely as a topical solution. People will often fill up their bathtub and soak in Epsom salt to ease body aches and muscle pain. The same can be used as a treatment for stubborn chest and back acne.
